Default Volk offset help...

So I'm thinking about getting some Volks. I'd like to keep the 18" oem tire sizes (225/40 & 255/40) & use 18x8 & 18x9. What's the lowest offsets front/rear I can use that won't rub & be flush w/the fendors (or close to it w/no fendor rolling)? It'll never have a big brake kit so that's not a factor/consideration. Here are my choices:

Front: +38 or +44
Rear: +35 or +40

I've heard from one Volk owner the +38 offset for the fronts won't rub at all but I need confirmation on both the front/rear offsets. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thx!

the lower the better. it all has to do with tire size and camber. also i would roll fenders.

im goin 19x9.5 +17 and 19x10.5 +18. of course im stretching the tire moderately , rolling fenders and have some neg. camber but its all worth it

I don't want to mess w/the car in order for aftermarket wheels & oem tires to fit (fender rolling, even more negative camber then normal, etc). I just want to keep it simple in terms of just mounting it on the vehicle w/o issues. Thx for the advice though.

You'll be fine with the +38 and the +35. You could go slightly more aggressive (lower 30's for each) without doing any mods also.
