Default Lexus cant figure out my problem!!!

I took my car in for them to check out a popping noise that I was hearing from the wheel when I would turn it. The noise wasnt that bad but I still wanted to know what was wrong. It only happens when I turn into parking spots or when i'm driving really slow. Lexus cant seem to figure out what is wrong, they replaced the whole steering column and still no luck. Anyone ever heard of this or had this problem?

I have the same problem when parking but haven't addressed it with the dealer yet. It has been getting progressively worse. I have 18k on the car.

My GF's car is doing the same thing. She's only got 250 miles on it. It only happens when the steering wheel is turned to the right and back.

I have this problem too. It sounds like some thing is grinding but it happens only when the car is been sitting overnight and low speed. It goes away later during the day or I guess when the car is warmed up.

Mine is an 06 with 17k miles.

mine does that whenever I turn my wheels all the way and reverse the car quick. IT sounds like the tire skipping the ground so it makes that POP.

sounds like you may have a loose strut... check the strut tower under the hood and make sure the bolts are tight.

I have a popping noise coming from somewhere behind the steering wheel when I hit the gas from a stop with the steering wheel turned right, and sometimes when I hit the brakes hard. The pop always sounds the same with the same intensity, and I can even feel it a little bit in the steering wheel. It didn't start until after I installed my Eibach springs, or maybe even after I had it aligned. It has been getting worse for the last ~10K miles, so I'm pretty sure it is a loosening upper control arm bolt. It probably makes the pop noise about twice a day.
