That's what employers tell applicants when they really want someone younger.

This needs to get back on track quickly or be closed equally quickly. I'll be watching from afar...

I wanted the IS 250 AWD for the Canadian winter roads but I didn't want to pay the Canadian price!!!

Too bad to bring a car across the border it must be free of liens.... so I had to pay cash. Still I bought the car outright for the same price as a 1 payment 4 year lease in Canada!!

Financing for me, I drive too much for leasing to be a viable option. My car less than 23 months old and I've already got 36k miles on it!

Lots of people In Cali lease huges mercedes, bmws because thats their only option to be able to drive such a car because if they had bought the car they actually wouldnt be able to afford it! Lots of people like that.

For those that leased ... Do you plan to purchase the car when the lease is up, or try to extract any equity out of it? I expect the residual to be below the resale value, so I plan to capitalize on the difference.

I heard buying the car after the lease is a bad idea. how can you extract any equity?

It's only a bad idea if the car is worth less than what you would have to pay to buy it. If it is worth more than the purchase price, then buy it, and sell it to extract the equity.

Paid in cash...never will lease a car...I like to personalize the car and I drive around 20k miles a year most of which is leisurely. I think more people lease higher end luxury cars not so much the lower-mid end.
