I have on order some 19" Volk Progressiv ME's and as suggested by the vendor, we let Volk decide on the best offset for fitment.
I was just notified that the offsets chosen by Volk are 36: back and 43: front.
Is this correct, or should it be the other way around? I was under the impression that the back wheels should be wider than the front and not the other way around.
Thats actually decent offsets for an IS. Not to agressive no fender mods needed for that fitment. what width size rims? 9 front 10 rear or same size all around? the reason the rear has only +36 compared to +43 in the front(assuming its the same size all around since u didnt specify) is so that the rear wheels will have a more aggressive look (although only 8 millimeters more). If the front wheels had more of an agressive look the the rear it really doesnt look as good IMO. Looking from your profile another possible reason for going +43 compared to the same offset as the rear is to clear the brake calipers in the front.
