Hey , So i made the trade!!!

i got my is250 AWD for 31k...and the new is350 for 35k.

I think i got a pretty good deal. what do you guys think?

the new is350 has only 100miles on it. ..comes with the luxury pkg ,premium pkg and the navi. one thing though, i always though the is350 would come with summer tires not all season. I ended up with the bridgestone all season..totally forgot to look atthe model of the tire, do you guys know what kinda tires they are giving us. Btw, this was all done at Rallye. great customer service and very polite. The only thing i hated was how they kept on pushing me to buy the extended warrranty for a ridiculous amount of 2k (only 3 more year or 25k miles). other then that its all good.
I'm a happy camper!!!

I think the reason the MY 06, IS350 was still on the lot is that in NY they probably don't sell as well as in CA or FL. In NY the AWD's are the one's flying off the dealers lots a lot more then 350's.

OP nice deal u got there. Btw, how many miles did u have on ur AWD? just curious...

That car should only get you $29K on a trade and that's if you have Nav and the luxury package.
You probably got the $31K off the asking price of the IS350 so you actually got $29K or less for your trade.
A so-so deal.
As long as you're happy...who cares?

nooo....
my trade in and the is350 price was handle separately..

at first they gave me 30k for my is250 but i quickly declined it..i told him 32k, they wouldn't do 32k..but finally agreed on 31k.
then they gave me a price of 35.5k for the is350..the lowest they would go was 35k. i checked kbb, edmunds and all the used cars, for the same spec (navi, lux pkg with 25k miles!) cost 38k. So, I dont see how this is a so so deal.

and 29k for a is250awd in NY? i dont know about that, maybe your is250 rwd is worth 29k, mine came with navi too. So it should be even more , not less.

and yes I'm quite happy with the purchase.

Your trade in with Nav and Luxury package retails for $35K on KBB.
Would you pay that $35K for your IS250 AWD trade in?
No,you wouldn't.
KBB,Edmunds vehicle values are too high.
My IS AWD is with no Nav and luxury package is worth $27K on a trade and I'm in North Jersey.
Coming down to $35.5 and a $31K on your trade is a good deal.
At $38K and $31K trade...it wouldn't be.
That dealers wanted to get rid of that 350.

My point is you said Edmunds and KBB shows the 350's retail value to be $38K.
The car is actually worth what you paid not $38K.
KBB and Edmunds over value vehicles.
I mentioned that in not paying that $38K,you got a good deal.
At $38K and $31K trade...it wouldn't be.

i really have a tough time reading your responds. but yea , i wouldn't have bought it for 38k.

35k for a brand new is350, the color I want, and the features I love. damn that is hard to beat. now all i have to do is MOD it all over again.
