Oil oxidation after a long time?
after two long months away from my IS,i'll be back to her on wednesday.
first i dicovered i'm in love with her.

and i was talking to a friend the other day and he told me that the Engine oil will oxidate in this long time and i should change it immediatley,i really don't think that i have esp that the oil is only 2000km old. but i don't want to risk my Engine on what i think so what do you car experts think?
the other thing is that the Oil change message was on before i left the car.
i want to know if the message appears depending on the mileage or it detects the oil quality?
cause i only have 2000km on the oil and the message is bugging me.or did the dealer jusr forget to reset the message?
and the last thing ,, flatspots on tires can they be seen by eye or is it hard to detect, cause i forgot to give the tires more air before i left.

Thanks...
There is no onboard oil analysis capability. It is purely mileage based. Sounds like they didn't reset it, as there is no way you should see a required oil change in 2k km.
Drive the tires. If there are flat spots, they'll round out with heat from operation.
