I am trying to figure out how to overide the navi. system to function while i drive...does anyone know how to do this....my car is a 2007 awd is250. and how the hell can i watch a dvd'S on my navi.? or can i even do so? CAN SOMEONE HELP ME.....

Well, the first question is: Do you have the MARK LEVINSON Audio System? Without it, you don't have a DVD player.

 

This question has been answered many times in many ways. Search for nav hack and look for the thread with 5 stars, it has the required modifications with pictures if you want to do this yourself.

Otherwise, you'll have to live with it. There is no software hack you can easily do to an '07 or '08 and gain access as you could with the '06 units.

 

Okay, first off, welcome to CL. Second, unless you have the ML system your car does not have a DVD player and you can not watch movies without adding additional after market hardware.
