Hopefully finances are such for you that you can afford to do what you're about to do...
1) Bought a brand new car. Accumulate almost 2 years of depreciation.
2) Invested time and money in several mods, for which you're not going to get a good residual value on.
3) Buy a used NSX, which wears out tires (I think) and is ridiculously expensive to maintain properly, not to mention not all that practical for many occasions.
4) Probably spend some more money modding it.
5) I just hope you don't get bored with that car... The NSX is a nice car, but it's had its day...
I wish my desire for less boredom was worth this much...

NSX is not hard to maintain. a number of my friends have them. Only the parts are expensive.
Yes i do agree on the depreciation of mods i spent on it, but i did 95% of the installation myself so i saved a few hundred.
I won't be modding the nsx when i obtain one. Maybe just coilovers to eliminate fender gap.
I don't see a point in me having 2 cars that are both sedans. I'd rather keep my beater accord and drive that around while having a sports car on the weekend.
THanks for your input tho

Just wondering, are the NSX known to be unreliable? I wouldn't think so since it's a Honda and might be cheaper than Euro cars to maintain consider its original MSRP.

4) Definitely, unless you find one with mods you want.

NSX is a great complimentary car to an IS350. Very different driving experience!
If you are concerned with finances, I would suggest you buy an early model as they have not depreciated in the 3-4 years I have owned one. They actually seem to be bumping up in price for good examples. You can get a good one in the $35k range. The '02's will still depreciate from their current $50k+ price point. You can drive an older one for several years and sell it close to what you paid for it.
Or just keep both and call your NSX your "investment".

^^^ I dont understand why people have windows in garages - seems like security would be an issue. Nice terrier, altho I don't think it will keep the thieves outta your garage . . .

Windows in garages usually cool the garage down during the summer, especially after you just came back from driving your car and parked it inside the garage. As for security, like your house you just gotta make sure to close and lock it at night.
