Default Will Lowering affect my warranty?

I was going to lower my IS 250 this weekend was wondering if i do so will it affect my warrenty from the dealer. If so what will no longer be covered by the dealer. Thanks 4 the help

It doesn't affect the warranty so you're good to go!

yes it will...suspension parts. also i heard they will void the warranty for the transmission or something if you hit the bottom of the car and mess it up.

Yes. Anything that fails which is directly related to the new suspension or the install of the suspension is NOT covered.

It shouldnt void the warranty for the trans. Suspension has nothing to do with the motor or trans. By law if anything goes bad and your car is modded, they have to prove the part you installed was the cause. If you do a search its on here somewhere.

If your suspension explodes then no your not covered but if your engine explodes your covered


...Off topic and I don't mean to thread jack but what do wheels void? If you get after market wheels what part of the car do they void? Lug nuts?

Wheels, springs and exhaust do not affect the warranty....which is why that's the most I will do to my cars. Now if you get some crap springs and they snap or your crap wheels pop off and your car falls to the ground, okay that's not covered. Thankfully people who buy Lexus usually buy the good quality parts so it's safe to say you will be okay.
