Default Need advice with dealer experience!

I have taken my car into the dealer twice for the strangle rattling/cranking noise when it starts and yesturday I left it overnight because usually, it needs to be sitting for a bit it really acts up when the weather is warm (Which it was today). I pick up my car at about 4PM and they say that they cannot hear the noise. I take it back, meet up with somebody at Starbucks for about 20 minutes, get in my car and the noise is right there! I truely do not know what to say. I mean I don't know what is going on. If they really cannot hear the noise, or what. Also, i specifically stated that the car has to be sitting outside but when I picked up my car, they had to bring it out from the garage, WTF? Can somebody please give me some guidance as to what I should do at this point because it is really getting embarrassing. Not only do I have to show up at the dealer and look like a complete idiot for brining in my car for a noise that nobody can hear, but I also have to get humiliated whenever I start my car in a parking lot.

Yea I have had this happen before with my last car... Its a tough game man and there really isnt any for sure way to beat it. The way I see it you have three options:
  1. Keep taking it to the dealer and hopefully one time or another they will actually hear it.
  2. The next time it happens try to figure out whats causing it on your own and once you do either fix it yourself or tell the dealer what you think youve found it to be.
  3. Leave it alone and hopefully it will stop doing it on its own.
I ended up lucking out and mine went away on its own, but you might want to start focusing on option 2.
