Damn, that's pretty bad... The still looks brand new (minus the glass) and completely intact though which is good.

Not too sure how much they would give you. Some of my friends said some insurance co. would just give you a new car since it so damm new, but dont quote me on that one.

Which insurance do you have?

Imagine how bad this could have been if you hadn't shelled out for the clear bra protection.

I just hope that the new gen IS's insurance rates dont go through the roof because of people wrecking their IS250/350's.

sad to see. Well not sure about the insurance policies in the states, but up here in Canada we have this option that we can pay that will cover the full amount of the car in case of a write off. i believe i payed 70 bucks a year extra for that, but if anything happens, i get the exact same car back. Although minus the mods of course. poor mayas!

the question is how fast were you going to make you lose control over a wet spot? were you going straight or in a turn? inform all of us so we don't make the same mistakes...

I already used that joke in the first thread! j/k.

Yeah, it's a damn shame what happened to the car. I think the only thing you can recover from that is the shift ****...

the insurance company should give you a figure close to what you paid for the vehicle. Also if you added the aftermarket parts to your car or have reciepts, they should compensate you also. Do you have Gap Insurance? It pays the interest that you may owe on your car in the event that it is totaled, otherwise you will be upside down when you purchase your other vehicle unless you pay the interest in full. sorry that happened bro, just thank God youre not seriously hurt and no one was killed.
