I guess that's how my GFM would look. But, white certainly looks nicer with black. More pics and specs please.

i tried for about 2 weeks, calling about every plating and custom motorcycle shop within an 800 mile radius from phx (that i could find with dex)... and i found 2 sources to plate black chrome. the hitch is that they would not do low qty "custom" work...

they were industry leaders in the plating business, and wanted a PO to black chrome hundreds of parts before they would talk business.

i tried Black Zinc plating (over a nickle base, yes i de-chromed my emblems). The finish would turn out an iridescent looking black, with a high gloss...

After 3 months with this guy, the emblems were returned, and they came out like crap! He didnt charge me a penny, because he felt so bad. The guy even tried taking and 2 of my emblems down to copper (last thing before plastic) to try a different approach.

Long story short, my paint shop now has them and will be color matching them.
