NAD4 wheel owners
So, i ended up buying these- mostly because they were economical for how well they looked. Seems to be a decently made wheel, for wheels in the 'cheaper' bracket as well.
Anyway, i get a set in yesterday and promptly take them in to get mounted/balanced/tpms'd etc. The tire tech calls me out to show me that the front wheel will NOT clear the front brake (bbk stock). He said it looks like 1/8 inch or so away. I can shave my calipers, or get a 3mm spacer (hubcentric).
So, my question is this: For those of you with these wheels (or even others) -did you use the spacer? The tire tech said he wont be allowed to install the wheel with spacers on? 3mm seems low-impact (especially for the front).
If i get these, where can i get them from 3mm..
any thoughts, suggestions? I can still return the wheels and buy something else, im just curious. I really hate waiting on shipping and stuff.

I would do the spacers in the front. You can get spacers at any speed shop. If you call around you should find them. Or online has them too. I have an extra set, wish i could just dirve them to you! haha good luck those are some nice looking wheels. what color IS do you have???"?

I have spacers on mine (front) and have had no problems. You shouldnt need them in the rear. What size are you running? Mine are 20's...either way good choice you'll love them.

Hey Jayhaw785, I just bought a set of 19" NAD 4's and set them up on my IS350 with the 3mm spacer in front. I have them lowered on tein SS coilovers and they rub like f'n crazy!!! I had a set of 18's slammed before and just swapped out for the nads but had to raise it up about 1/2" in the front tonight b/c it rubbed so bad. I even hit all around the fender with a heat gun to roll up the inside plastic. I set it down and I still rub with the wheels turned all the way. I even hear the back rubbing occasionally.
Did you have to heat gun any other areas besides the inside of the fenders? Rears?
Or am I gonna have to suck it up and raise it more!?
Here is a crude pic taken with it nearly slammed up front (I literally couldn't drive 10 ft without it rubbing....on flat ground!!!)
