im getting underglow...i know RICE!

Let me help you out:
Puddle lights if done right is fine. But I have a feeling you're not getting the lights that I have in mind.
ive always been against underglow, but after looking at my illuminated scuff plates and thinking about how much admiration it brought me, i thought about getting underglow. this evening, while my car was parked in my friends driveway, there was a dim light hitting my car and it just looked so pretty. i then told my friend hey i think im gettin streetglow. and he goes if you do it, get blue it matches your scuffs. i was like YEAH i was thinking that! then my friend came in his f150, we hear his loud exhaust and he had his blue underglow on, at that point im like-yo i need that...it's so obnoxious and so ME. so i think im gonna go through with it tomorrow. i have a friend who is gonna hook me up with a 4pc LED kit in blue with wireless remote operation (no switch, remote only).
opinions appreciated. no holds barred. tell me what you think, and what you would do to my car if you ever saw it with the underglow on. (i only planned on turning it while im near the car and while parked.)

usually those against underbody lights are older.. and want more sophisticated mods on their cars..
im on the other hand a younger person and i always wanted the underbody lights as well. i actually had the exact same kit you want.. in blue. and i thought it looked awesome. it worked well with my blue interior LED lights. but after a year of damage from the freeway and etc. they had to be removed.
anyway. of course a lot of ppl here are going to think its rice because we are all lexus owners.. and known for a higher level of sophistication than say. hondas.
but really if you want to do this, i think you should go for it. if you're like me then it'll probably used only sparingly anyway. just to impress the peers
and honestly thats what us teens are concerned with at this day and age anyway.

later on we may look back and laugh at ourselves but whateves. go for it. just dont post up too many pics to annoy your fellow 2IS members.

I personally wouldn't do it, but I'm not gonna call rice just yet... I've seen some setups that were tastefully done and others that were simply hideous. I'll save judgement until I see some pics.
man i think you should go fot it man. What i would do is get the VIP style and have it so when the puddle lights turn on they turn on as well. I wouldnt have them on all the time, it wouldnt look nice. But dude go for it and please post pics if you do.

Such a brilliant idea!!
.....guess I'm the exception....I'm older than most here and I'm not against underbody lights as long as they are puddle lamps and not neon tubes.
Oh, and I like sophisticated mods too.... I think....
