Replacing chrome trim on outside of drivers door... HELP!!!
So I took delivery of my new IS350 last week, and noticed that the trim right below the driver door window is loose closest to the b pillar... What should I do? Would Lexus warranty such a thing? Also is the door a 2 piece door like Audi's are? Is the chrome piece easy to remove or riveted on?

yes its under warranty! give them a call. they will order the part and then have you come in to fix it. Simple as that. I don't think the parts department normally stocks that part. I had to get my drivers and rear drivers chrome trim pieces replaced in the same place as u described it sucked because it wasn't under warranty and it cost me around $350

And since I'm moving to Tampa tomorrow, does it matter what dealer I take it to?? Even though I bought it from Schaumburg Lexus in Illinois.
Sorry for the double post.

Any Lexus dealer will take care of you, as they would value the possibility of obtaining your repeat business. Warranties are not specific to dealerships. You are covered if you move.

Ask the locals via the link above. I'm sure they would have an answer.
