It's finally time to replace my front brake pads. The dealer is charging me $325 to do the job with the OEM parts. I'd like to purchase and install the hawk performance pads (less dust, etc), but the dealer is telling me that this will void my brake warranty. Is it worthwhile to have this done and if so do you know of a good shop is Southern CA that is reliable and will do this?
