I have an 05 G35 coupe and an 06 IS350 and I can say with confidence I prefer the IS in almost every way. It is much more comfortable inside, it has a lot of cool options that are standard and some things that aren't even available on the G35. The flow of the interior and exterior is much better in the IS and I also think it looks better then the G35. There are pretty big price differences between all 3 cars you're picking, I don't know if that matters to you.

If you're going to wait though, G37 looks very promising and I love the way it looks.

Again, I really appreciate your feedback. Aside from personal taste and filtering out bias, all of your objective statements are most helpful.
Subjectively ....... Lexus has prestige. There are three mass market luxury makes (BMW, MB and Lexus). Others, like Infiniti and Audi, are knocking on the door but they don't carry the cache of the Big 3, and maybe never will. Lexus and Infiniti came out at the same time and Infiniti has never played in the same league as Lexus. Some of its newer stuff is pretty good (M and new G) but it is starting from way behind.

Infiniti's tend to be rough around the edges, not as highly polished. Fit, finish and materials are not as good as the Lexus. And most Infiniti service departments leave a lot to be desired, although there are exceptions.

Infiniti offers a good bank for the buck, but you really get what you pay for. Lexus is a fully developed marketing package with a high quality product and usually white glove treatment from sales and service.

It's the little things that make the difference in the end, so I'd suggest you read this thread to see why people still love their IS:
