I wonder why they're warping... is it from the heat (during the summer), improper installs, or just a design flaw?

PNice, thanks for the info.

It's kinda strange. Cause this happens with ONLY the driver side piece. It warps inwards towards the window. Considering this thread, and the members. I believe there is about 4-5 members with warped visors?

Very curious to know if any Japanese IS owners has faced this problem.

Hmm... could it be from someone accidently pressing down on it while closing the door? I know it's weird to be closing your door using that spot but you never know.... If it's not you doing it, maybe it could be someone else who could be servicing your car (dealerships, person who does your oil changes, etc)... The reason why I think this is because the driver's door is accessed frequently and usually people who service cars aren't exactly.... gentle with it (sorry about stereotyping...).

There isn't a reason to push down on it though.

I think I'm just weak... but that door feels heavy to me! Most people who ride in my car slam the door too. So even if the door doesn't require pushing, people do push down to close the door... Also, I'm pretty short too. Taller people might push down on that area to close the door. I personally push down the area near the door handle.

BTW, are you at work Pocky? I'd AIM you but I can't use it at work. =(
