OK. I should correct myself. US version of the IS. 100+MPH will turn it red. I'm not sure if you set it on or not. Mine is always on. So I don't know about turning this function off. But don't go out there trying to pass 100+mph just to try and see if your ring turns red. I don't recommended it because your eye should be on the road at all time. And if you do so, please be safe and consider the safety of others.

I have never seen one and hope to never see one either. I like affording the insurance on my car and also dont want to spend the day in jail. Here they wont play with you. Your day will be hell real quick, starting with them f'ing up your bumper right in front of you while the tow truck driving monkey impounds your ride.

you can set your red ring to turn on at a desire speed. i set mine to turn on when i am 80 MPH.

No. You can only set the ORANGE ring.

I hit 130 this weekend. I should have taken a picture but I had a 350z behind me trying to keep up. He slowed down because he wasn't gaining on me. We raced a little later from about 80mph and I walked on him

This IS350 are fast.

Great idea, guys. The last thing anyone should be doing when driving dangerously fast is trying to take a friggin picture of the speedo while they're doing it. Why not just make a call on your cell phone and have a beer, too?

Clarification

sorry for misunderstanding:

by all means i am not encouraging anyone driving at insane speed and take a picture and endanger anyone's life.....i was just wondering if anyone took a pic of the red ring when they do dyno testing.....

again, I DO NOT ask anyone to drive at red ring speed in the street.
