My main pet peeve about a setup like this is that it leaves you with pretty much no trunk space...

I've got a single 12" sub in my trunk and am annoyed by the lack of trunk space that I have left... It's one of the reasons I'm gonna look into getting a custom job done to get two 10"s put into the trunk corners

just a question...curiosity....

for those of you who complain about trunk space...what do you put in there on a regular basis that having a subwoofer would impede that much?

i have a gym bag and a box for leftovers that might spill...thats it. then when i go shopping, there's nothing that cant fit in the trunk or back seat.

if i'm going on a trip or need to put something bigger in there, just take the subwoofer out. you can get quick release connectors for the box that will enable you to remove it in 2 minutes. thats what i did with my old maxima.

Sounds great, all panels remove in like 30 seconds, and the spare can still come out

I guess it depends on the season, really....

Right now it's basebally season, which means a massive baseball bag to carry around equipment along with chairs and such and a good ol beer cooler

Winter time's hockey season, so there's another massive bag that goes in the trunk a lot of the time.

You can always throw stuff on the back seat, but when yer driving people that's not really much of an option.
