You can get Sirius in all scion models and in some toyota models right now, why wouldnt lexus get that too?

Um, obviously it's speculation. That's why I said "most likely," and not "will be."

may see something like turn signals in the sider mirros. probably something minor. I would think a few more years before they change the car. with the ISF comming out i would think that will get most of the attn till 2009/2010 and then we will see more changes to the IS.

Are you kidding? How do those things make the ISF worth buying over a 250 or 350? First of all, Lexus won't be out to persuade people to buy the ISF over the standard 250 or 350 because the ISF will be a limited production model. Second of all, the selling points of the ISF have absolutely nothing to do with the things I listed. The ISF's selling points are more horse power, different body styling, different seats, different wheels, different suspension, different breaks, different exhaust and different interior trim. The things I listed are things that are commonly changed in model refreshening states, and they have absolutely nothing to do with the ISF specifically.

Do you really think that the changes I listed are only going to be specific to the ISF? I'll bet you money that most of them aren't.

We'll revisit this thread once the 2008's are announced. I have a pretty good feeling most of the things I listed will be incorportated into the 2008 250's and 350's.

-Mild refresh of front and rear bumper design
-New digital readout for gear-position, oil temperature, etc, located in between the speedometer and tachomoter, as seen on the ISF
-Tail lights to have clear turn lense, as seen on the ISF

And one I'm hoping they'll add:

-More supportive sport seats offered as an option, just like their competition
Is this guess work on your part or do you have some inside information we don't know about?

Yes it would be nice but Toyota/Lexus has other ideas instead of being HP king.

To make more HP, you will sacrifice MPG.

To get sharper handling, you will sacrifice comfort and have more road noise.

Car companies will do w/e they can to pinch pennies wherever they see the opportunity.

Toyota/Lexus aims, not for performance but, more for being the more Luxurious and Prestigious company

If you want sporty, go with Nissan as that is their goal.

If you want simple economics, go with Honda.

You can't compare Japanese Luxury cars with German Luxury cars as well because they are in the slightly higher end of the luxury market.

Japanese cars always try to offer more for less.

German cars offer more for more at the price for higher maintenance =P

It's your pick.

Everyone's offering you a different slice of the same pie.
