IS250 maintenance?
I am thinking of purchasing either the IS250 AWD or the MB 4matic.
I would like to know form the owners what the yearly maintenance is and the cost to replace the brakes and tires. How many miles have owners got out of the AWD tires/ brakes. I have a Honda now and I like the fact of low maintenance.
Thanks

I got the MB 4Matic for the wifey, and the IS250 AWD for me! I have almost 20k on the IS, the maintenance cost so far has been only oil changes (do my own). The MB has about 7.5k, first oil change is at 10k, no problems with the car.
The MB feels more comfortable as a cruiser on the hwy, and is a bit more comfortable (less sporty feel) but then its also feels much faster. Interior quality is pretty good on the mB but the IS is def. nicer (IMHO), more features, and the layout of the center console is more ergonomic.
Both cars have had no issues so far (both about 7months old), but I commute an hour each way to work so I drive much more. Yes the Lexus/Toyota's are much more reliable then MB (if you were to finance it), personally I leased the MB, financed the IS.
