why do people keep on saying its 10k? i bought mine in so cal and the difference was 5k which was worth the extra 100hp. Not to mention the base msrp is a difference of 5k i think. and when you consider the fact the dealers are willing to deal at invoice price for the 250 then its like a 2k difference. so at most its a 7k difference. this is with ttl included.

AWD is a must where I live. I'm in the hills 50 miles west of Boston, so we get LOTS of snow and ice. The IS350 wasn't even an option here as none of the dealers stock them (of the 4 dealers I visited) and the G35x just didn't do it for me. The G may be the better buy overall, but I just don't like the look.

i got mine for 36 out the door with wheel and tire policy and some other policy.. so i coulda got my 250 for 34 OTD without policies.. only cause brothers and his gf works for lexus.. i had no money for a 350 i thought i had to put an extra 2 grand down for the 350 no nav but it was just only an extra 2gz for the navi if i got the 350.. i regret it.. 250's are slow........................... still nice non the less.. i just plan to do an engine swap in the future

I'm sure it has to be the money. Because i test drove the 350 first then the 250 as soon as i pulled off the lot i looked for the first place to turn around and told the salesman not a chance you could sell me this 1!

Why does the average person NEED 300 horsepower?
While I could afford the IS350RWD, I chose the 250 instead because of
1) bottom line lower cost
2) lower insurance costs
3) resale value
4) better gas mileage
5) i'm not towing anything that would require 300+ horsepower
6) i'm not racing (too old for that)
7) i live in suburbia
