It's threads like this that keep me away from this forum. People bash on how slow the IS250 is all the time, and how worthless the AWD is. Who said 250 owners bash on the 350? The opposite occurs far more frequently. I always see posts like "lol the IS250 can win in a race?" and "Get the IS350. it's SO MUCH BETTER!" Whatever. People buy the cars for different reasons- I don't understand why some people feel the need to justify their purchases by making others feel small.

I honestly do not see what you are seeing. Unless you are seeing IS3s with chrome wheels, then yes chrome will make a car look more expensive, other than that they look very similar from a distance.

Lets not talk about bigger brakes on an IS3, 9 out of 10 people (none car enthusiast) never even heard of Brembo. My AMG has Brembo's, I laughed when my dad said, "are those Brembos on your IS as well?" I replied, no their POS. My dad said, Oh..never heard of that either, looks nice though, just not as shiny. LOL

EXACTLY!! Even Vin Diesel will say, "you want me to drive a what, an ISX50...excuse me, I don't drive cars that have air conditioned seats!

I'm member of MB forum as well. I swear no one disrespects the owners with E350s, C300, etc... In fact, we give them props for making a great choice.

I wish it will be the same in this forum in time.

it's an online community, and to expect that everyone should play nice and get along is unrealistic. we're on here to express our opinions, and as such our opinions should and will differ.

on the other hand, that is also why there are moderators - and a thread regarding establishing a sense of community here in the 2is section - to maintain a certain level of order.

No because thing's like NAV are a personal preference a lot of times, not so much always a money factor. I, personally, would probably not buy any car with a factory NAV unit at the moment. My g/f on the other hand will not buy a car without one.

Anyway, why is this thread even still open? haha

haha i should of. he was just driving there with his gf and i pass by and his jaw drops

funniest part was, the 3 wasnt even chrome, or whatever color its supposed to be, it was flat white with like a pearl in it
