can i use 245 front and 275 rear for the stock 18 rims.

I really like 19 for the looks but don't want to sacrifice the performance.
but i am wondering if I can use wider tires if i use 19 thereby providing better cornering?

You can get wider 18" rims just as easily as you can get wider 19s.

I didn't think that 275 would fit on the stock 18x8.5" rims, though. I thought you needed at least 9-9.5" wide rims for that size.

You can ask at the Tires and Wheels forum for a better answer, but I'm pretty sure that 255s are the largest that will fit on 8.5"-wide wheels.

For 275, you will probably want 9.5"-wide wheels.

if youre not gonna drop ur IS than stick with 18s. in my opinion, bigger rims on stock height looks as bad as an unpainted body kit.

Quote: If I had the mula I'd get 19s, but if you don't get the ISP lexus wheels and trade your stockers in at Sewell lexus.
do they still have the trade in now?

Had my car went in for the rattles fix and spoke to the technician and he recommend 18 as he thinks 19s will rub and there is more issue with offsets.

I'm sure 19s without drop is gonna look bad, but it's slot nicer to look at
