So I tried to search but didn't really come up with any hting to helpfull.

Anyways to the point I was at the audio store today and I was talking to one of the installers because I was buying an amp kit to put my subs in and we started talking about the NAV(keep in mind I dont have ML) and he tried to tell me there is a tuner box that you can supposedly buy to make it play DVD's. So my question to you guys out there is, is there any truth to this box you can buy to play dvd's or no???

 

It's possible, but you won't be able to put DVDs in the car's audio system, but rather in the DVD tuner/player that is attached to the nav system.


By the way, your sig is too big (as of now)...

 

If you buy an ML head unit, it WILL play DVDs. And yes, it will work without the ML amp

 

WELL I will find out tomorrow if he is full of it or not.

Were can you get a ML head unit besides the dealer?
