Default LMS Supercharger Drag Race

When is someone with the LMS Supercharger going to go to the drag strip? I want to see our cars break into the 12's!

My guess is that the SC isn't all it is cracked up to be... There are already a few members with the SC installed but very little, if any details and performance numbers. The little info I have read many many months ago suggested lackluster performance, considering the price of the kit+installation.

hmmm. Intersting thread, I already did a quarter mile run on the dyno at the shop. Car did low to mid 12 range. Got one time at 11.8, but not sure how accurate the dyno is with that number.

There are only 3 member with the kit. I'm one of them so if you really wanted to know you need to ask one of us.

Gernby is about to break 12s all-motor, hopefully he will start producing more of that Self-Tuning ECU

From what I remember, the LMS was only bumping output up by 30-40 rwhp. That might put you into the low 13's and possibly the high 12's depending on what else you've done to the car.

Mid 12's is going to require something closer to 400+ bhp at the crank

Too bad we can't just build the motor up and put a wee bit of spray on it.

Like those big bad LSx guys!

I doubt we'd have to build up the engine. Just add N2O with a wet shot. I've been pondering that for a bit now.
