Default Replacement DS4 Bulb (for OE HID)

Just wondering if any find replacement for the oe HID bulb. It is the D4S model, and I don't see any replacement out there.

I actually want them in 6000k color-temp. During my trip to TAS in Japan last month, I found nothing there and most local shops told me the D4S standard is too new for aftermarket and all suggested me to contact Tom's....

Any idea?

You mean D4S

go to www.xenonvalot.com, they have D4S 6000K replacement bulbs.

Made by Solam from Japan.

There is actually alot of aftermarket D4S in Japan. Just not sure on the brands.

Yes, you can't really "un-HID" your car unless you want to rip out the whole system, and glue some halogen bulbs into the housing base.

I think your getting confused with what HID means.

HID stands for High Intensity Discharge. HID was a optional accessory on the 2006 IS's. Standard now on the 2007.

They are gas filled bulbs with about 35K volts running through them when they turn on.

I don't think they are standard. Still an option but unlike '06, you needed to get either sports or luxury package for the HID, but for the '07 model, they are sole option ($500 or something I think)
