From the IS350 option list on KBB, I believe if you order the Sport Package on an '07, and you order the (FT) wheel upgrade, you get five spoke X-Pkg wheels.
Does anyone know for sure???
Yes you can. For sure...Originally Posted by fantom

Thanks for your feedback. I figured I smelled a rat. If the salesman does not come clean then I am asking the sales manager for a new rep.

Here's what I got back on 9/30/07. I've read other threads where others have paid a lot less than I did. I'm not sure what the allocation is in FL though. I did see an X-pkg in Lexus of Portland last week when I drove by, but that probably isn't helpful to you.
I got my at Kendall Lexus of Eugene, Oregon, about 2 hours from Portland.
$40500 OTD ($2735 off MSRP)
$43017 MSRP + $218-ttl. = 43235.00
2007 IS350 Showroom Car
XE, PT, NV, HL, Z1, LR in Obsid. Black/Black.
No tax in Oregon. TTL in OR is $218 for 4 years.
Everything by email. Not the best price, but I'm very happy.
My wait time was 1 day from final negot. to purchase.
I saved a lot and they made a heck of a lot of $$$.
Good Luck

dont get me wrong, there are cars that come in without nav and with few options. in fact most of the cars i found either had a lot of options or very little. theres a dealer in so cal that has a lot of non nav is350's.Originally Posted by Evitzee
This must be a regional thing because here in TX we are seeing IS's coming in without NAV, and very few options other than the Premium Package. Very few X-pkgs coming through.

If you are working with Lexus of Tampa, the sales manager is worthless. Her name is Tina Klien if I remember. She botched my special order but gave it to me at cost so I took it. My salesman was Trigve Holst, he is very good. He knows his stuff and won't lie to you. Good luck.

A dealer here on the east coast of FL let me know that there was an '07 IS350 Sport special order cancellation somewhere in our region, and that the car was on a ship now, due in about the end of the month. I don't know what dealer "owns" it.Originally Posted by Keppie

It's supposed to be silver with a black interior and Nav/ML. If that sounds good to you, I suggest you call your sales rep soon, because people like me on the Sport Package watch list are getting called now.
Good luck...you WILL enjoy the slightly tighter suspension.
PS: Thanks Philip...I think and hope you're right. I haven't found a salesperson that can say for certainty one way or the other. Lexus has to do something to smooth out special custom ordering, if they want to be a real player in the luxury performance sector.

On the Lexus site it's really unclear what happens if you order the Sport Package with the upgraded wheels option (FT).
But this is what's listed on the options specification KBB page:
(FT)Wheels, 5-Spoke Alloy $576.00 (invoice),720.00 (MSRP) -- (Std w/X Pkg-XE & XF) Includes P225/40YR18 Front & P255/40YR18 Rear Summer Tires.
It's an enigma, and just another way to discourage special ordering.

Local salesman called back and he stands corrected you can order the X package on the 350. They do have 250 with X in stock. Tomorrow I am driving 250 with X and 350 regular to get a general comparison. They do not have a 350 with X or sport in stock.

Make your decision based on the power between the 250 and 350, and not on whether one car has the X-package or not. Other than the tighter suspension on the X, the other stuff is just cosmetic.Originally Posted by Keppie

I drove a 250 X package and a 350 regular. There is a noticeable difference between the X and regular ( I am refering to handling not power - although there was a big difference in power also). Not as different as say a regular 3 series BMW and an M3. I definitely would not purchase without the X or sport package. Very impressive ride. My only complaint was poor rearward visibility when backing up.
I just want to clarify somethoing. I have an 09 with X-pack. Is this the replacement sport gas pedal under recall or whatever people want to call it?
Since they are cutting rubber pedals I was curious to see what they did with our medal ones. If this is the replacement it looks fine to me.
Please confirm that I am right or wrong.
Thanks
