nav problem?
for some reason my navi isnt working right...its not showing me at the right spot...it tracks me at another part of cali...maybe 500 miles away in a dead area (no street names/only shows freeways)...i heard tint may cause the gps to mistrack, but i've had my tint for awhile...and my navi was always working fine (for about a month)....is there a way to reset the navi? retrack? anything?....my navi is 100% stock, didnt do the navi-hack...also its a 07 is250.
Go to Menu and choose Options.
One of the options is Calibrate Nav. It will ask you to put your current location and the direction your car is pointing to. It's a quick fix.
Having the nav "go haywire" is rare, but can be affected by various things, such as radio frequencies. I typically get problems beside a bunch of big-rigs riding beside me...

If this is a 2006 model year car, ask your dealer to perform TSB EL013-06. As rsx2is350 describes, they will replace the DVD with one that has newer software that corrects the problem.
I have to disagree with PhilipMPST's suggestion. Recalibrating the nav isn't a fix, it's covering up the problem. The need to recalibrate means that your nav isn't locking on the GPS signal, and is probably operating using the gyroscopes and speed sensors most of the time.

I think that similar problems are in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=262005
