The sound on the outside is a diesel-sound, but the inside is quiet, only not so quiet like your petrol car. For a diesel car it is very quiet, more so then the BMW 3 series, Volvo, Audi A3/A4 or other cars.
It drives very good, with 400Nm, you can drive pretty fast without realy knowing it.
