Hi! I got the xm radio receiver and fit kit from sewell and did the install with no problems in my 2007 is250 w/nav. I used the antenna connection from the sharkfin. Everything appears to work fine. I get the xm preview channel and emergency alert station. all my other stuff still works! But, i cant seem to get the unit activated. Im a long time xm user so i am familar with the process, but every time they send the signal it never seems to pick up and activate. Anyone else had this trouble? No one seems to no what to do, my radio ID has been confirmed and acurate.

Turn the radio on in the car and leave it on. Go to refresh.xmradio.com - that usually works for me. If not, the receiver may be defective.

 

Thanks, we have done that multiple times and have had xm customer service do it as well. is there any menu to show signal strength or if its hitting a satellite or repeater? any service type menu? any other thoughts??
