Well it doesn't really matter, the kit from scosche IS in development and will be out. The second email was from a different comapny and they have no eta or if they will come out with one.
It took 2 years for a Gen 1 IS kit to come out. They build kits based on the popularity of the cars and likelihood of someone to replace it. Let’s face it there are plenty of other cars more popular. I guess now that this thread is 5 pages we have at least 50 people ready to buy a kit. I am sure they will drop the Nitro, Wrangler, Sebring, Expedition, Navigator, Maxima, Scion, Tundra, Titan and Armada. So they can get the IS kit out instead.
I gave up - ordered an Alpine VPA-B222 OEM Interface with the 7" touchscreen with bluetooth to install. iPod, bluetooth and XM all in 1 plus Nav if I want it and I might try to rig a backup camera.
I have a navi in my car, but no ML. I want to add a aftermarket deck to it. I remember seeing something like that, but i can't find it anymore. THe put the CD changer into the glove and put the deck where the CD changer was.
Would you please share how you relocate the cables and how do you connect to your audio system?
Thank you
I didnt have anything to do with making this, I found it on the JL Audio website in the custom installation gallery. I do know that a shop in Lake City, FL by the name of Audiowaves made it. Their number is (386) 389-2394.
Well I went ahead and emailed scosche myself. An hour later they responded and said at the moment they have nothing available but check back with them in january.
