Question Garbage and Trash?

Just wondering where everyone throws their trash in the car. In my old RSX, I use to keep a car trash bag in the back, on the back middle floor. The RSX didn't have a big hump there so it fit nice and not really noticeable, but the IS has a big hump there and also a person could sit in the middle. The RSX had no middle seat.

I saw a "trash stash" for the door map pockets on L-Tuned, but they're $270!

I take it with me when I get out of the car. I've found that if you don't let it pile up, you can maintain the new car smell longer, and its easier to clean everything when there's no crap everywhere.

2nd, i make it a habit to take trash with me. I don't eat in my car either...unless it's an emergency so that helps.

CT isn't as environmentally friendly as CA. We don't have trash cans everywhere

No eating in the car, period. I stop at rest stops and use the tables outside to eat. Drinks are acceptable, but must be kept in the cupholder at all times, unless being drank from.

With regards to the trash can issue, I'll let some trash slide until I get home, but it will pretty much never stay longer than one trip through the front door of my abode. I'm guaranteed to find a trash can there.

I put small papers, reciepts, and used napkins in the side door pocket, and will empty it once a week.

As for something bigger such as fast-food bags or bulky items, they get thrown into the trash immediately after I finish driving.

By the way, I'm a neat freak, so there is never anything in my car except a window visor rolled up behind the driver seat. I don't know how much trash you generate but I can handle small bits of trash here and there...

That's why I can't wait for my IS to arrive... My Accord Coupe has a big opening under the Stereo and I always throw receipts and crap in there and it gets way too messy and it's a pain to clean. The IS doesn't have much compartment space so now I will be forced to throw my trash away right away as opposed to everytime I get a wash.

I'm really **** about the cleanliness of my ride. Geez I wipe the brake dust off every other day. Doesn't everyone clean the back of the brake and gas pedals? So I don't have a problem with trash building up in the car.

The only excpetion is my family bus. Since I have two rugrats, I'm afraid I have been defeated in that battle.

Where does everyone throw their dirty tissues after blowing their noses? It gets cold here and sometimes I have to blow my nose or my passengers do too. Just putting dirty tissues temporarily in the cup holders or door map pockets aren't good options.

I have all season mats...so I tend to just throw the trash on the front passenger side floor mats. When I exit the vehicle I just take it with me. Or I make my friends throw it away when I drop them off.

Trash...hmm..

I dont eat or drink in my car- bottled water only- and if I buy a new CD- I open it, put the CD in my case, and throw away the trash in the Best Buy parking lot before I leave-

There is never anything in my car other then my CD case-

Receipts go in mypocket or wallet-
