If you can find gold wheels with a much simpler design, and doesn't take so much attention away from the car..then by all means gold wheels are the ishhh son. Very 'JDM' looking. Have you seen the Volk TE37's in the dark bronze? That would look pretty decent on the IS if you got it in a 19" diameter.
Or LE37's...

I feel ya on this one...i had the same GT-C's on my accord...they do look good...IMO they just look to aggresive for the IS..maybe if you had a black or white 2IS w/INGS+ kit, you can pull it off.

You're drowning out the silver with the gold rims.

For that color car, I'd go with regular silver, brushed, chrome, or even gunmetal...but not gold, or black.

Thanks to you all for your opinions/comments.
Yeah, I was thinking it may be too ricey or stand out of the car, but I just liked gold ones. The reason I asked for your opinions is because I haven't seen one on my color of IS, and I couldn't imagine how it would look on top of my head.
I guess I should just go for silver, gun-metal color of rims...

Get what you like, its your car and the main goal is what makes you happy. I went with gold because like you (i like gold) I had a silver car before and had silver, brushed, black and gunmetal wheels. So I wanted gold.

I second that! IMO, Gold and silver don't mix.

But the question is Gold on Smoky Granite Mica... I would vote NO to Gold. I would either go silver or any dark color. I was going to go Bronze but I am going with silver. Just my $.02 which is worthless.
