Well tonight i was leaving the movies with a friend following me and i had to show him how to leave the place, so I take a slightly different route to avoid traffic. I look in my rearview and make a right turn. What i fail to notice is that their is a 1 foot island with a bout a 5 inch flat curb on each side. Needless to say my front right wheel hits it dead on as if i tried to drive straight at it at 5 mph. I hear the loudest sound i have ever heard and briefly see the sky. I eventually land. Scared that i just cracked a rim (after seeing pictures of that one poor is350 on here a few months ago) I get out of my car shaking. I go around and their is nothing visibly wrong. Just some slight curbrash were there was already some before, and with the rub of a finger it completely blended in as if it was there from my previous grazing of a curb. I was still scared though about my exaust, suspension, sway bars, etc. I look under my car... nothing but a scrape on my muffler which was no worse then if u rubbed 100 grit sandpaper on it a few times in an area no bigger then a half dollar. So i precede to make some extreme turns in the lot and then get on the highway to check and see if she is still in some decent alignment and to check for vibrations. Nothing... just perfect like before. So im posting this because i'm still amazed at how lucky my encounter with that curb was.... plus i really don't understand why putting islands in the middle of a ****ing parking lot is such a neccesity. So i just thought id share. Also sucks cause i think of myself as a good driver...and this made me feel pretty stupid.

edit: I was also very happy that i hadn't previously purchased the tanabe nf210's i wanted so badly.
