Also, thinking about putting on rim's next year, but I'm totally lost on the widest wheels i can put on the car filling the fenders. Then use the original rims for winter. I'm also running the All Season's this winter. Switched over from a 2003 A4 Quattro and loving everything about this car. Responded to your tint question.

What else are you thinking about doing? I'm looking at lighting next. Want to whiten up the fog and drl. Not sure how yet.

Other than an annoying noise that I think is coming from the glove compartment (I'll have the dealer address this issue when I see them in a couple weeks or sooner, depending on how the bad tint fix is arranged), the car is amazing.

I put these DRL on my audi. I think they would end up matching the Lexus colour pretty close. But not sure if they make the same bulbs for our cars, as they seem very german centric.

The problem I have really is, the IS250 AWD isn't my all year round car. I bought it to replace my Audi for winter driving. Since I have a place up in collingwood, where we head snowboarding and stuff.

I'm so itching to do so many things.. but holding off. The reason I'm itching cause I haven't really done anything to either one of my cars over the past few years. The only thing was chipping the Audi with a APR chip.

But here are ideas.... if I ever really shell out the money.

1. Red out tail lights.
2. Tein CS coilovers
3. 18" wheels
4. Turbo (i would love to get another 60hp) out of this car. Too bad they didn't make a IS350 AWD.

I would actually be very happy with my rim's if they were wide enough. My Audi's 17" rims came out to the fendor's and they filled up properly. Since the car had the sport package which lowered it another 1.5"

What are your plans? and by no way, are 2-4 in any order!

I did the red out tail lights. I used rvinyl. It looks great. Lowering and lighting are next. Need to whiten up the DRl and fogs and change some interior bulbs too. After that I hope to be done for a while. I need to regroup. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about wheels/tires. I'm leaving the stock 17's on for a while so I have time to decide. They are the least of my needs. Even on stock once the car is lowered it will look so much better. I'd would have liked the car to have some more power but it is what it is and I'm good with that. I can't see myself adding a turbo or anything like that.

If I was to go for the Eibach springs to lower the car do I purchase the kit that is really for the 350? I see there is one for the 250 but the drop is different.

Thanks

I had some place, up here in Toronto, quote me $380 for the springs. Not a great price, probably not even a good price. Then they tell me they want $400 for install and alignment. I asked if the combo was $400 and the guy tells me, no it's $380 + $400, plus tax. That's almost $900. I told the guy he was crazy and politely declined.

The search continues.

I'm dropped on Road Magnet....not sure if they went into production with them. The drop is over 2" since I cannot see the tops of my tires in the back!!!

The biggest cost issue when lowering on just springs is actually the labor for the install and alignment.

Ok, getting some reasonable prices now on the labour ($200 range). I just have to determine if I want the 350 (1"F/.8R) or the 250 (1.4"F/1"R) drop.

Should the extra weight of the AWD be a factor in the decision or is it strickly looks and feel that should be the determining factor?

Thanks

Yes, that is because you're thinking Tanabe. I've been talking Eibach. Much easier to get Eibach up here.

Wow your car looks really nice with the new wheels.

Do the tire pressure sensors fit on those wheels?

If not, what did you do about the tire pressure warning light?
