i can see that he changed his parking lights to a whiter color, but howd he change his DRL to a whiter color too? i thought they run at lower wattage so no matter what it would be a yellowish color.

edit: ooo.. nvm. didnt see that he had high beam on.. take a pic of the new bulb without being in highbeam mode.

There are no LED out there that will fit a 9005(DRL) opening. What you changed is the 168 mini bulb.

How about the bulbs I found on ebay made by Piaa?
These are 9006 and LED.
I know that the DRL is 9005, but with some minor work, they will fit just fine.

When you turn on your car, only the DRLs are on, when you twist once, the DRLs stay on and the parking lights come on, if you twist twice then the parking lights are on and the DRLs turn off and the low beams come on. the third twist is auto headlights i believe. correct me if im wrong

Anyone know if it's difficult to change the DRL's? Does the bumper need to be removed?

Your DRL bulbs are also the high beam bulbs. Replacement is detailed in pages 310-312 of your owner's manual.

Wow, for those of us (me) who are a bit ignorant when it comes to automotive lighting...so drl stands for daylight running lights. that being the case, drl's are just highbeams run at a lower voltage, in which case it is impossible to change them to LEDs? because i have been wanting to change the daylight running lights to LEDs. is that not possible?

You can get 9005 (DRL) LED from PIAA. Go to ebay and search 9005 LED. They are $89.00.

dj- I could be wrong, but those are LEDs but it kills your fog/high beams. Its just an LED light
