Default Help! Oil change on IS250 AWD

Hi. I was wondering if anybody has done a DIY oil change on the IS250 AWD. I have looked at the numerous threads on oil changes that all pertain to the IS250 and IS350. However, when I tried to change my own oil this morning, it doesn't look like it's exactly the same process. I first tried to remove the underbody panel. I couldn't find the panel with the three screws but I believe the AWD is held by one screw and a clip which I successfully removed. I have changed the oil in my previous cars (all hondas) and it looks way different under the Lexus. Now I can't seem to locate the oil pan. Any direction would be helpful. Thanks!

Can anybody point me to where the bolt for the oil pan is located?

On my IS350, it is behind the plastic covered area, on the passenger side of the car.

Is it in the center of the car towards the middle of the car or further back almost by the cat converter? Thanks.

it's the one closer to the front of the car. The only other bolt that looks like it could be to the oil pan is further back and is part of the transmission i believe. If it helps, the bolt is angled so the oil will drain out towards the passenger side of the car.

With all due respect, if you're this confused about what bolt is the oil pan drain, you might want to re-think changing your own oil. The oil pan is pretty obvious, and common sense dictates its location (i.e. under the engine).

I was able to change the oil. Thanks for all of your help. I initially thought that it was the oil pan but couldn't get a close look as I didn't have the car jacked up high enough and wasn't sure if the oil pan was covered by the rest of the plastic under the car. All of the oil pans I have seen previously were all black and the one under the is250 awd was metal/black. Nevertheless, the process is pretty simple and the oil filter on the IS is very easy to access. Thanks again.
