I just bought a new is350. Just wondering if it is normal for it to have a pretty loud ticking under the hood, kind of sounds like an injector.
I have not taken it back to the dealer because it is a hour away so I thought I would see if it is normal?

This car has direct injection, which operates at very high pressures. The ticking noise is normal.

Thanks for the reply. I was just a little worried. My race car sounds quieter from the injectors than my lexus. But as long as nothing is wrong what can I say.
