Default Pricing question.

Hi.
I'm currently looking to buy an IS250 RWD 6spd manual with premium package or sport package and... I was wondering if some of you could answer to my answers to help me to decide which route I should go for.
First of all, is $30,500 for the IS250 RWD 6spd manual with premium package good price? They wouldn't go below that price..
I know... that many people have chopped off huge discount on their car purchases, but it's not something possible here where I live, because the dealer has to special order one for me..
And... second question is... would it be worth it to order the one with sport package for that extra money?
Sorry about the too common questions... but want to hear from the IS owners for the true opinion..

To me, that is absolutely a good price. If you look at the official pricing thread, it seems that most people are getting between $2000-$3000 off MSRP. It seems that you basically fall into that $2000 off category. I do have one question, if all you are getting is the premium package, then why do you need to special order the car?

To me, the sport package is all about preference. I've read that there isnt much difference in the suspension (slightly stiffer ride, slightly lower). You just have to ask yourself is it worth the extra few thousand dollars?

thanks for your input.
I iwas thinking that Sport package is good, since it includes memory seat, rain sensor lower/stiffer suspension and HID. I know that i can add xenon kit later on as well, but I personally think OEM stuff with self adjusting sensor and motor is good?? Not sure if that is worth extra couple of K $$ though...

I have a 6-speed with Premium that I special ordered (not a common color combo). I don't think the sport package is worth it and I'll be getting a slightly more drop with Eibach springs, illuminated scuff plates and saving a few K (HID isn't a requirement for me). I'll use the money saved for new wheels/tires as I'm putting snow tires on my 17" stockers.

I'm in Ohio and lowest around 3 cities was $30,300. $30.5k initially but it had all-weather mats/trunk liner/locking nuts which I didn't require. I had a personal hookup out of state and got $29,800 and some All-weather mats thrown in, and a Lexus t-shirt with a SC430 on the back since they were out of golf shirts.

Take the $30.5 and tell them you want some mats too. Save the extra money for mods and another set of wheels. I recommend getting a ClearBra before driving it. Make sure you go for a long test drive in a 6-speed as the clutch feels like it's out of a Celica and not smooth at all, and some catch really high (mine is OK engaging mid-way). Gas mileage is Great at 12k lifetime of 30.1MPG.

Wow... $29.8K??? How did you get a special deal like that?
The deal of $30.5K that I arranged with this dealer was almost impossible as well, since the dealer located closer from me wanted full MSRP for it, but I got that 30.5K deal since it's the one far from me and I have to drive about 200 miles to get it.
Aren't the All-weather mats supposed to come with the car? Are you planning to add HID on your non hid equipped IS later?

You're looking at a $700 dollar difference, a mere 2.3% of the total value of the car.
