I would love to trade my wood for silver but it's not that I don't like the wood, I just don't think it looks good in this car....in a mercedes, yes, but lexus sports car...no...

I personally would change from a bird's eye maple to either a figured cocobolo or flamed hawaiian koa. some pictures of each:
cocobolo, its a central american rosewood. its known to be really crazily figured:
hawaiian koa, it grows only in hawaii. the sparkling (the different shades of colors or lines) are like 3d, kinda. its different when looked at in different angles (kinda like blue onyx =D)
As you can tell, i'm into guitars as well. =)

there are a LOT of losers here and in other car forums who think getting skanks, I mean pole dancers, uh I mean 'ladies' with their cars is hot. you can usually pick them out of a crowd in person without them saying a single word. now the internet makes it even easier.

I like the wood interior accents. I did not like the "metal" look at all. It reminded me of a mustang or some other cheaper looking american car but...to each their own. As to "getting chicks".....when I was in school you had to have a loud and fast musclecar.

Wood can look cheap in many cars. But I think the wood in the Lexus series of cars is high quality and therefor looks good. I agree the wood in many cars is inferior and looks like a kid in a third world country went wild with stain on a piece of whitewood pine.
