What do you guys think if I put a set of gold wheel w/ polish lip on a SMG IS? Or do you guys think it will look better with either black w/ polish lip or gunmetal w/ polish lip? Comment please!! I am trying to refunish a set of wheel in different color and would like to collect some comment before I start, thanks!!!!

 

i'm not sure about gold on a SMG. i think it looks best on white and maybe even red (there was someone with gold on red in the aftermarket wheel thread). a gunmetal may be nice, since it matches well with the paint color. good luck with the wheels and post pics when you're done!

I wasn't sure about gold on my MR, but it really looks good. I have yet to see gold on your color, but how knows....it may suprise you....like mine did.

 

gold looks better on a white lighter car, doesnt sound like it will look good on a dark car

Bad Pic.. That gold is too "gold-plated" gold... Try using this pic...

(BTW... i think black look good and all, but it tends to make wheels look small...)

IMO, Gold wheels only match White, Black, Red, Blue.

For SGM, Gunmetal or brilliant silver.

Agreed. And, silver/chrome would be the best contrast to gray.

I think it would look good. Ive got black volks on my SGM, though I did consider gold. I say go for it!
