wow smoking the headlights makes the front look a lot more flush and round. i wonder what it'd look like with the grill painted balck. did you smoke the headlights with an overlay?

 

yeah, I got the aerotect kit for the headlights. and I'm planning to paint the grille to match the color of the car, I just have to find a good place to go to in AZ.

 

Do you have HID's? if so, how does it look at night? any loss of brightness?

BTW, your headlights look good, it's different. Very clean job. Taillights are nice too. I saw the taillights on another IS250 but it was alot darker and he left the reverse lights undone. Looked real nice!

 

There's a little loss of brightness, but not enough to take the overlays off. The light's plenty bright enough, it changes the tint of the color you see a little. From outside the car looking at the lights you see a purple color light but I'm not sure you'd see the same from far away. I'm for sure they don't look like regular non HID lights though. Hope that helped

 

yeahh actually smoked lights arent really my style either.. id rather do black housings but different ppl have different styles =)

 

a little too dark for my taste, as well.

 

I was going to say that (black) or black chrome; now time to get some rims, etc.
