you guys are so funny.

as if all the millions of cars on the road are driven ONLY by their owners.

Let him drive your car, you'll be fine.

Can't relate, I've got the opposite thing going on - ever since I put on the G-Spiders, my wife refuses to drive the IS, she doesn't even want to go near it . . .

Benjamin Franklin said it best, "neither a borrower nor a lender be". Loaning your car to anyone is nothing but trouble. Worst case: the borrower involves your car in an accident and it's his fault. Your insurer could leave you with the tab.

Unless it's your spouse or child, the car should only be driven by the person who paid for it.

Some of you guys are harsh.

I wonder how some of you treat your family??

It would be okay, just let your brother know to take really really good care of it. I'm sure he is responsible and wont harm it at all.

I let my parents drive my car, but thats only because they paid for it so they have a right to do whatever they want with it.

I get uncomfortable with other people driving my car, so I just don't let other people.

Make sure he's extra careful when changing lanes or backing up that there are no cars in his blind spots. They may be hard to spot (especially bikes) even when you look over your shoulder due to the high belt line of the car

Tell him that he has to fill it up with premium fuel.

Hack your Nav/ML system and tell him to watch DVD movies while driving.

Dude. Do you know how bad the road condition is in NYC? Also, crazy cab drivers? Flying rocks? Do you have a clear bra? You bro might return your car with scratches on the bumper.

I would mind lending my cars to my brothers. They both know how much I love it, so they know if they do anything to it, that I'll be upset about it. Then again, I don't really have anything to worry about. One of them is a mechanic, so if he brakes it, he could fix it too and the other one makes enough money that he could pay to get it fixed if he broke it.

rent him a lincoln navigator or landrover LR3 for him. That way he knows that you are not cheap (caring enough) and you don't have to worry about your car anymore.

Problem solved

So basically, they're letting you drive THEIR car.
