Default Tips on Aerotech vinyl red outs/fog light install

I've read all the threads on these forums about the aerotechs and I am going to put them on tomorrow. Was wondering if people that have already installed them could give some hints and tidbits on the best way to do this. What to do and what not to do. Anything that will make it go by without a hitch. Thanks! Vit

the tricky part is the edge of the light. I had hard time doing it, but I figured out by let it dry a bit, then I'll use my credit card to take out all the air/water out, and I then I just used my thumb to press and hold on vinyl at the the edge for awhile and it will stick on perfectly.

using a blowdryer helps to iron out all the air bubbles but make sure you put the heat setting on warm rather than hot or else you risk melting the film.

they're not that hard to install as long as you give yourself time and have patience. i did mine in a rush so they're not as perfect as i'd like.

Is it best to use the blowdryer while you are smoothing the film to get the bubbles out or after?

Wet or dry install easier?

use the blow dryer during the install to smooth out the film. you'll need to do a wet install... i don't think dry is even possible.

I don't remember if there was an option to install the red tails the dry way. I think the dry way is for the fog overlays...not sure...

Use the blow dryer for the wet application after you've made sure it's straight. The purpose of the blow dryer is to smooth out the bubbles. i found that w/o the use of a blow dryer, it was nearly impossible for me to get rid of all the air bubbles.
