Thanks man. I've seen that. I get as far as removal of the two screws, but I can't figure out how to release it after that.

He talks about 2 fasteners, but I have no idea where these fasteners are or how to remove them.

I've tried PMing him before but he hasn't responded. Let me know how your experience goes.

the dome light is just held in by those 2 screws. use a credit card to get your fingers wedged in on the other side (closest to you) and just pull down. it should drop down.

Since you guys are putting the effort in changing you puddle lamp bulbs you should look into having the option of turning them on all the time. Wouldn't it make you mod more worth it? Especially when going to car shows at night.

Damnit, I've been trying all morning and I still can't seem to get it. The dome light has to be held up with more than just those 2 screws. Every time I take the screws out and get my figers wedged up there, I begin pulling so hard that the plastic on the whole unit starts bending, and it still won't drop!

I'm just gonna say ***** it, unless somebody can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm not about to crack my whole dome light casing just cause i'm a dumbass.

I did change the vanity lights while I was in there, though. Looks pretty sweet.

OK! first you have to take out the 2 screws, and then put your fingers on the side, where the bulbs located, near the end of the dome light and pull, it will come out. It took me a while to pull that thing out.

So I just got back inside from my 4th attempt at changing the dome light to LED's and I still can't get the damn thing out! I've tried pulling it from the front; I've tried pulling it from the sides; I've even tried poking at the 2 clips in the front with a screwdriver and still nothing!! Anyone with any further clarification would be great.

Thanks

Back on topic for a mo - does the LED puddle light mod fade up and down just like stock?
