Ordered an 07' 250 6MT rwd/lux/nav/ml last week. Going to be car-less for 3 months because I traded in my daily as I didn't want to wait 3mo and have it go down in value or anything to happen to it, etc.

 

good luck with the wait. trust me it wont be easy but well worth the wait espeically since youll be getting it around Xmas time so thatll be a nice present for you . what dealer did you go to here in jersey if i may ask. ive had mines almost a year from englewood lexus. good luck once again

 

I went carless for four months waiting for the car myself (but I was also going through escrow so no car payments helped with the financing).

How are you going to pull that off?

I'm trying to get an '07 250 without having to special order since I don't want to wait 3-4 months. Since I'm in the northeast area, most dealers keep telling me they cannot get me a RWD 250 because of my region and try to sell me on an AWD.

 

Thanks for the props. I went through Difeo in Bridgewater. They're pretty cool and such. I picked up a beater from a relative and will be in that till the Lexy comes. I'm assuming that there aren't many power mods for the 250 yet (or ever) ?

 

Drive down south to pick up your car then... Road trips are always fun when you are picking up a new toy at the other end!

 

I'm trying to find a dealer who can get what I want... Nav, park assist, xenons, specific color combo... it's been hell trying to get this car. I've even called FL and CA dealers.

 

You're pretty much right about that. It will be difficult if even possible. Its pretty specific what you want. Just special order and be done with it. Just remember, the longer you wait/waste time finding something that doesn't exisits, the longer you will have to wait if you break down and decide to order it.

 

I completely agree... Just place the special order, if you've already reach out to all these dealers that far away, I doubt you will ever find it...
