I got the black "tight-fit" frames from autoattire.com (Plain Frames > Tight Fit). Unfortunately, they don't make a two-hole, narrow version of this (that I know of). I like the look of the tight-fit a lot, but not the two unnecessary notches on the bottom.

You can get them at lexus dealers. I got a black pearl frame (to match the emblem) without the lexus name on it, i thought its overkill to have the lexus name on the frame since the back has the lexus emblem and the lexus name already.

It was also given to me free when I bought the car...simply because I asked for it

Whenever i see an alumni plate its always on a cheaper car which is kinda depressing. The most expensive one i saw was a 5 series, thats about it. But i'll be slapping one on mine in a year!

University of Duke. That's funny.

Any Blue Devils here? If so, you should be offended.

Have you tried using the handle on the inside-right part of the trunk lid? You have to give it just the right amount of pull to close the trunk (the pull gets it started, then it should close under its own weight), but after a few times, it feels natural.

honestly, i just kept my dealer plate because of the trunk closing thing, too. I dont like grabbing that awkward handle and am just too lazy to get another one. I personally think alma mater tags are classy, but my car already has a nice all white school crest decal which show up nicely against my 13% black tint.

isnt it dangerous to post your license plate number online? especially since this forum is open to the public unlike my.is
