Honestly he hasn't really trully modded his car yet... at least compare to other members on the forum. He's done the mods he's wanted so far, which is fine... but there are so many more things to do.

It's practically a stock car with some different lights.

all you did was change your lights... if your satisfied with it fine but there is a lot more you can do. it is all personal preference on how much you want to do but i dont think you can ever be DONE. new stuff always comes out..

I just changed to synthetic blinker fluid, and I'm very impressed with myself. Someone please pat me on the back and congratulate me for having more money than sense.

C'mon guys, back off. No need to pound on the OP.
I agree we don't need a new thread for this, but he's prolly a kid and is proud of his ride. Aside from the lights, he did do the intake & exhaust, which is more than I'll do on my daily driver . . .

Hey guys, I don't think he's trying to show-off or brag about anything, he's just sharing (like most of us) his mods and asking for any suggestions or comments about the mods. He clearly states that he installed everything that he wanted, so if some of you don't consider them mods or whatever, that's fine, but you don't need to criticize another person for that, after all it's his car and he does whatever he feels happy with.

I know some of you are just trying to be funny, but PLEASE let's respect each other here. We can all say what we want to say, even negative things, without being disrespectful.

Having said that, I think that you (S.F.IS350) should consider other mods down the road like getting a body kit, suspension, larger wheels, etc. There aren't many accesories available for the car yet, but as time goes along maybe you'll see something that you like, and that might inspire you to do some additional mods to your car.

On the other hand, if you're happy with the mods you've done so far and don't feel like doing anything else to the car, that's fine! Just save up some money for other things like a house, another car, trip, whatever!! After all, there is more to life than just cars.

Alex350, like you said, he did say he was happy with all the mods he's done, and done with it... but he asked the forum members what he could do next. I don't think it's terrible for some of us to suggest what we posted to him. Because most of those stuff that I listed would be the things I would do if I had expendable cash.

Also to note... by simply listing "Bulb replacements" as a mod, it looks like he was attempting to make his car different from others. But in actuality, it's still the same basic car. It's like someone posting Pix of their stock IS without anything new to show the rest of us. Ya it's fine and dandy to see another bone stock IS... but do people really care to see yet another one?

I know what you're trying to say OutlawsX. I was just referring to the people who post rude comments. It's not what it's said, it's how it's said .

Bulb changes might not be the most noticeable mod out there, but it's still a mod nevertheless, plus he still added the HIDs, Tanabe exhaust and bought some ISP wheels, which are somewhat rare. I know those mods might not be as noticeable to most of us, especially after seeing so many mods on the IS in this forum, but those are his mods and we should not make fun of someone just because they didn't do "major" mods to their cars. All I'm trying to say is let's respect each other in this forum.

I love the addition of the OEM 4 piece body kit on my SGM 250 AWD (pics in the gallery on page 8). Also moved up to 19 inch Toyo Proxe 4's, which beat the hell off of the standard Dunlops that mine can with from the factory.

For some people, a car never be complete. Most of us are in the same boat and in an endless cycle of modifying things that would not need modifying if we were reasonable minded.

I think you've done a good amount of work to your car and made some nice choices in mods and making your IS "your own". In the eyes of many others, there are tons of other things to do to the car, but that depends on your budget and what you want to get out of your IS.

There's a little too much haterade in this thread IMO, but probably the best advice on modding is to make intelligent, informed purchasing decisions based on things that YOU want, not what others want. A lot of guys want a BBK, but I personally think it's a complete waste of money. Ya dig?
